Friends of The Arboretum Founders Lecture: Matthew Clarke

Native Lexingtonian Matthew Clarke, an architect, planner and writer, will speak about "The Culture of Parks and Open Space: Building Community" at the first of two Founders Lectures sponsored by Friends of The Arboretum. Mr. Clarke is the Director of Creative Placemaking at the Trust for Public Land in New York. He has been recognized as a national leader in the urban placemaking movement which strengthens the role of parks and open space as an integrated component of community development. Mr. Clarke will speak immediately followed recognition of the 2018 Bur Oak Society inductees.
