A close friend and I have been heading to this restaurant for five or six years now.
And while some experiences are hit-or-miss, the vast majority have always been great meals and great conversations.
The spicy chicken sandwich is a good bet, and pretty much any milkshake is always great. If they run the caramel apple milkshake special during October, be sure to try it.
I'm not sure where to start, except to suggest that if you think about stopping ... don't.
I went there for the Super Bowl and had a waitress who preferred chatting with her colleagues than paying attention to my best friend and me.
The Caesar salad included what were clearly Pepperidge Farm croutons. My best friend's chicken strips looked like they were straight out of the Kroger frozen food section. Scratch that ... the Save-a-Lot frozen food section. And that's just the beginning of the problems. I ordered a pasta dish and requested no tomatoes. You guessed it, it came with tomatoes. It took me 10 minutes to pull the waitress away from her conversation with some other servers. And then when the new dish finally emerged, the pasta was identical to the noodles in Campbell's chicken noodle soup.
Gee, thanks, Rumors. You made me remember what it was like the last time I was a victim of food poisoning.
So drive on by.
