Jessamine County Black History Month Celebration

14th Annual Jessamine County’s Black History Celebration at the East Jessamine County High School on Saturday, February 23 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. The free event includes commentaries, musical selections, refreshments and performances by Michael E. Crutcher, Sr. as the abolitionist Frederick Douglass, the Step Team of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, and a reading of Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I have a dream” speech by Reverend Randall Bush.
