I'm a hillbilly from Eastern Kentucky, but let me tell you that this is absolutely the best restaurant I have ever eaten at! I have been all over the world and eaten in various types of places, but this is by far the best. The sahara's chicken, Lamb and beef Schwarma's, lamb chops, goat chops, it's all good! Give them a try!

Sahara, a small family owned casual dinning restaurant. Seating is available outside too.
The aroma is amazing! Walk through the door and be greeted as if you just got home.
The food... OH My Gosh! Fresh food, no preservatives, everything is made there on the spot, each and every day. Salads are wonderful, so much so that you can make a meal of them alone. The lentel soup is to die for... they should package it for sale at the grocery. But the meat dishes, spicy chicken, kebabs and the shawarma are unbelievable. I have yet to try anything that I have not truely enjoyed. Each time I go, I find a new item that once tried, quickly becomes my favorite item.. at least until the next time I visit Sahara.
I highly recommend this quaint restaurant, where everyone does indeed learn your name. Prices are great as well.
