A helicopter. The Italian Riviera. A bathtub. 50 brides fleeing 50 grooms. From the fragments of an ancient Greek tragedy, Charles L. Mee creates a Dionysian free-for-all that pits unstoppable male force against unmovable women. This physically inventive comedy takes contemporary sexual politics to an extreme, and suggests that in true love there are no conditions…and no holds barred. Beginning Valentine's Day and running for two consecutive weekends at the Downtown Arts Center.
