Lexington young adult novelist Gwenda Bond reads from her debut YA novel, Blackwood, a fantasy thriller about two present-day teenagers in search of answers to the mysterious Lost Colony of Roanoke Island. Blackwood is currently in development as a television series with MTV and Lionsgate Television. Her second novel, The Woken Gods, is coming in 2013. The reading will be in the Triple Crown Room, 2nd floor, at the Hilton Lexington Downtown. Presented by the Bluegrass Writers Studio at EKU.
