Mountain station is a band comprised of members from the southern end of the mountain state of West Virgina. They are a bunch of proud country boys through and through. Nick Pennington is the song bird of the group able to hit notes other may shy away from while picking a mean banjo. Chip Newman is the pretty boy of the group on his mandolin and hazy vocals. Joe Hatfield, great great great grandson of "Devil" Anse Hatfield, plays rhythm guitar for the group and manages it with… Show more an iron fist (just kidding). John Newman keeps them all on beat with his cajon. Justin Pennington sings the perfect middle harmony that brings the vocals together. Filling out the band is the bear of a man Austin Nemith on smooth bass and bass vocals. They play sultry blues, killer country, and hopping bluegrass all with harmony that make men cry and women swoon.
