All animals & their humans are invited to the Blessing of the Animals on the steps and grounds of the Lexington History Museum. The Lexington Farmer's Market will sell pet oriented products, PetSmart will distribute free pet goodies & several animal rescue groups will have adoptable animals on site. Blessings will be given by the Christ Church Cathedral clergy. The Boys & Girls Choir will sing. The tradition of Blessing the Animals honors Francis of Assisi, known for his love for animals.
