Everyone has heard of the infamous McDonald’s coffee lawsuit. It is often cited as an example of the problems in our legal system, but is it a fair assessment? The award winning film Hot Coffee reveals what really happened to Stella Liebeck, the Albuquerque grandmother who spilled coffee on herself and sued McDonald’s, while exploring the media frenzy that ensued. The film’s director will take part in a Q & A session following the film. Free admission.
