Tibetan Fashion: Photographs by Zhang Fuquan

The Headley-Whitney Museum is excited to continue its year-long celebration of China in partnership with The Confucius Institute at the University of Kentucky. "Realized in Wood: Contemporary Prints from China" features large amazing woodblock prints unlike anything you could imagine. The ten artists on exhibit continue the centuries-old tradition of woodblock prints and create images of amazing beauty and detail. "Tibetan Fashion: Photographs by Zhang Fuquan" will also be on display. Mr. Zhang is an award-winning photographer from Xian, Shaanxi Province of China who now resides in Kentucky.

The Headley-Whitney Museum is a decorative arts museum founded by jewelry designer George W. Headley and is home to his jewelry designs and eclectic collections. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 5pm, with the last tour at 4pm. The Museum is closed on Mondays.
