Incorporated in 2000, the Lexington History Museum, Inc. opened in the former Fayette County Courthouse in October 2003 in a partnership with the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
Thanks to the generosity of our members and patrons, it is Lexington's only free historic site.
