Friday January 2nd 2009 I stopped with my friend and at first glance it was alright. The place was moderatly busy and had a small offering on the menu but what caught my eyes were the OYSTERS. I asked how they could be ordered and was told by the dozen or 1/2 dozen on the half shell. I asked about steamed and my server asked the manager and it was a go. They delivered 24 of the best oysters I have had since moving here from the gulf. fresh plump and unheavenly delicious. We ate those and tried another 24 and it was even better then the first 24. Let me just say this, for the best oysters anywhere in Lexington try this place. They also have music at a reasonable level and have live music Fridays and Saturdays from local talant. If I were one of those food critics 2 thumbs pointing skyward. Have fun and enjoy. Oh yea I said first glace above, This is really a nice looking place with a good calm atmosphere

I'm not sure where to start, except to suggest that if you think about stopping ... don't.
I went there for the Super Bowl and had a waitress who preferred chatting with her colleagues than paying attention to my best friend and me.
The Caesar salad included what were clearly Pepperidge Farm croutons. My best friend's chicken strips looked like they were straight out of the Kroger frozen food section. Scratch that ... the Save-a-Lot frozen food section. And that's just the beginning of the problems. I ordered a pasta dish and requested no tomatoes. You guessed it, it came with tomatoes. It took me 10 minutes to pull the waitress away from her conversation with some other servers. And then when the new dish finally emerged, the pasta was identical to the noodles in Campbell's chicken noodle soup.
Gee, thanks, Rumors. You made me remember what it was like the last time I was a victim of food poisoning.
So drive on by.
