New York Sandwiches at a New York Price.
The food is amazing for Kentucky, these are large deli style sandwiches with great flavor and they have good sides to choose from. The only thing I don't like is two sandwiches can run you $20.
What a treat
Giacomo's is a delight for the folks of Lexington. The food is terrific and the portions are right sized. The building has been beautifully restored and cozy if you go a little before or after the lunch rush. It can get a bit crowded at that time. I just took that as a sign of how good the food is. I was right. For anyone who is looking for a deli sandwich that is not the normal fast food fair, this is truely a break from the everyday sandwich.

For some time, downtown Lexington has been sorely in need of more places to get really good sandwiches. To the rescue: Giacomo's New York Delicatessen, in a prime location right across from Courthouse Plaza on North Limestone. The sandwiches are pretty pricey by Lexington standards, but as far as deli sandwiches go, they're the real thing. (Full review)
