Yes this is a wonderful place as we found it by visiting on july 4 th weekend. We were welcomed by a beautiful hostess and seated in the window seat, really good view of the limestone and W.high street. Our table had fresh starched linen and settings for four and nice lether menus with bright gold decal logo.(classy Touch, not seen in very many indian joints) While we were looking through the menu our server brought us the crackers nad three sauces(mint, onion and tamrind)and she expalined to us how each sauce tasted and which one is considered medium spicy to judge our pallets. We picked a bottle of nice Shiraz (Fat Bastard)dont laugh its one hell of a good wine from France, and "samosa Chaat(Vegetable samosa topped with chopped onions, peppers garbenzo beans, cilantro),Brazier appetizer" (Excallent combination of tandoori meats served over sautee'd onions and peppers)as our starters. Both the appetizers were absolutely deliceous. For our main course we tried Highly Reccomended Chicken Tikka Masala,(chicken cooked in tomato cream sauce) Lamb Vindaloo,(lamb cooked with potatoes in tomato vinegar sauce)Palak Paneer
(spinach cooked with home made cheese),Fish Madras(salmon cooked in coconut milk) and A bread Basket(cosisting of three naans, Onion, spinach and Garlic). All the above entres were served with Basmati rice. Our food came just few minutes after we finished our appetizers. Presentation was very nice(They use real china for all entrees not those ugly stainless steel dishes) Bread was hot out of the oven and crisp, rice was full of flavour with cloves cardamom and cummin. All the entrees wereso good that we all became the clean plate club members. This is a good sign that we dont have to ask for boxes to carry left overs. For dessert we tried Pistacheo Kulfi (indian Ice cream) Wow that hit the spot, Very good smooth texture, rich in dry fruit and topped with cherry and chocolate syrup. Service was IMPACABLE every detail was kept in mind and we never have to flag our server for anything. Even the Owner himself caame asked if every thing was OK. We dont see that personnal touch now a days in many places.
Ambiance is excallent ,out door seating is classy with white linen and black menus. Lastly we all were full and happy and that speaks very highly of Bombay Brazier. We will be back and bring many friends.
