The Julep Cup Restaurant and Seahorse Lounge
Let me start by saying that I, as well as my husband, have worked in the food indusrty and know how hard it can be. But really?! We walk in on a server bad-mouthing her fellow waitstaff with her back turned to us for at least two minutes. Finally after we said "Hello?" we got seated. I ordered oysters rockefeller for an app. I can honestly say that I have never seen oysters rockerfeller that looked like this, beyond the less-than-appetizing color of the sauce, the taste was even worse. Then came the "short" ribs...the bone on this plate hung over the sides, I felt like I was in Flintstone's nightmare. At least that tasted halfway decent...until I went to eat the leftover's that were nothing but gristle and fat. I really wanted to try a new restuartant, but after dropping over $100 dollars we will never go back...and will just stick to the old, reliable Sal's!

The whole, they say, is greater than the sum of its parts. (Full review)
