Friends of the Lexington Public Library Fall Book Sale

Our objective is to raise funds for programs not supported by tax payers. We do this via Friends Book Cellar in the lower level of 140 E. Main St., where we sell gently used books at nominal prices throughout the year.

Once or twice a year we have a very large book sale away from downtown and move 80,000-100,000 books during the eight-day period.

During the sale, books are 25 cents to $1. Former Dawahare’s store, 1801 Alexandria Dr., Gardenside Shopping Center.
10 a.m – 6 p.m. Sat., Nov. 14 is Friends Day (Memberships for sale at door.).
Noon – 5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 15.
10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Mon. Nov. 16-Fri., Nov. 20.
Two-For-One Day: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat. Nov. 21.
Bag Day: Noon-5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 22. All you can put in our bag for only $2
