Located on McCracken Pike in Woodford County, the Millville Community Center, which was previously the Millville School, hosts several annual events to benefit the community including Hillbilly Daze. This yearly event includes a parade, car show, line dancing, a horseshoe tournament, various vendors and concession stands and numerous activities for children. In addition to Hillbilly Daze, the Community Center hosts an Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween Carnival, Christmas Dinner including a visit from Santa & is the chosen site for horseshoe pitching in the Bluegrass State Games. The Millville Community Park has some of the best clay horseshoe courts in the state and therefore is used for various horseshoe leagues and tournaments.
In addition to hosting scheduled events each year, the Community Center and surrounding facilities are available to rent, including the pavilion which features electricity and lighting or the Millville Community Park with its lighted horseshoe pits and open space for other activities.
